I'm here...

So you would think that during Spring Break Caputo's Corner would be slightly more prolific.  Well, that has currently not been the case, but fear not, I am still alive, just had a pretty busy Easter weekend away from the comp.  Don't worry, blogosphere, Caputo's Corner is not going into hibernation, the high quality blogospheric products you have come to expect are coming back soon.  I'm just spinning the grey matter for the right content.

But a very quick (and I mean quick) hit on Rick Santorum dropping out of the GOP presidential competition.  This is somewhat surprising considering the next round of primaries includes Pennsylvania, Santorum's home state.  Recently, polling trends have had Santorum's lead shrinking, especially now since the Romney Super PAC has started its ad blitz across the Keystone State.  It's a shame that Santorum is leaving now because all that leaves is Gingrich as some kind of Romney alternative.  It's all but over now, get ready for a Summer's worth of Romney saying how Obama is "in over his head" and how that he is a "nice guy."  If the general election were tomorrow, it would be ugly.
