I Normally Don't Do This But...

...I feel like I've done it once before, and it's a fellow blogger getting the shoutout.  I was reading Just Call Me Janks this morning to find out that she has given Caputo's Corner (along with a few others) her "Liebster Award."  If you don't know what a Liebster is, read Jess's post.  I am honored by such a designation, so thank you very much Jess.  The title of the post deals with the fact that I usually keep these kinds of posts topical, and I'm not big into the whole "favorites" bit, but in the spirit of cooperation, I shall play along and tag somebody else. 

So here are the rules (copied with permission from Jess's blog)

Favorite color: Red (although I have a soft spot for burgundy and gold)

Favorite animal: Hmmmm, tough one.  I'd have to say dog and cat

Favorite drink: Yuengling Traditional Lager

Passion? More like passions...football, science, and road tripping, although regular readers here probably already knew that. 

Getting or giving presents? Giving.  It feels better to me to see someone open a present from me and really like it.

Favorite day: May 9th :-)

Favorite flower: Roses, although I used to be a big daisy fan myself.
