Another School Year Winding Down

PHEW!  Seems like deja vu all over again, doesn't it?  We have once again reached the month of June and you all know what that means.

Last night was the RSPS 8th grade graduation.  We said goodbye to 48 teenagers who will be taking their talents not to South Beach, but to various high schools in the Baltimore area.  This also means the start of Summer blogging season here at Caputo's Corner.  It has been a very productive school year, accomplishing quite a bit in the field of STEM (including another 1st place It's Academic finish and undefeated season...).  This Summer will be more of the same as Caputo's Corner will be partaking in more STEM related activities, including a ROAD TRIP to Philadelphia, PA (don't get me started on Eagles fans) for ISTE2011.  This trip will be at the end of June and Caputo's Corner will be reporting "on location."

The Summer season also means that we should be getting ready for training camps to open in July...but that is looking highly unlikely.  Today is the hearing in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis on the motion for a permanent stay of Judge Nelson's injunction.  Quite frankly, the outcome of this hearing will determine whether or not the season will start on time.

To be continued..........
