Peyton's Playplace

Peyton Hillis just made a pick for Cleveland following their trade with Kansas City into the 21st pick.  They selected Phil Taylor, Defensive End from Baylor.  Baylor has had a resurgence as of late, and solid line play from guys like Taylor helped make that resurgence possible.  Ooohh, Wikipedia says he's a local kid, Clinton, MD.  Represent!

At 22, Indianapolis needs a solid offensive lineman to protect the other Peyton in the NFL.  Yes, AK, there is only one Peyton.  Hillis is the understudy.  There was a chance that the Colts would take my boy Carimi, but instead the went with Anthony Castonzo from Boston College.  Castonzo is a solid bookend who will give Manning solid protection on the blind side.  The whole reason for the Colts' success in the last 13 years has been Manning's ability to stay upright.  He couldn't do that without an offensive line that is cohesive, communicates well, and likes their quarterback.  Castonzo will fit in very nicely on this unit, much to AK's pleasure I'm sure.  Now...instead of going to a class organization like Indy, Gabe Carimi could end up in (yuck) Philadelphia at 23.
