But...the good news is, the team who traded with us (Jacksonville), really wanted Gabbert.  So this update kills 2 birds with one stone (or cats...).  Jacksonville is planning for life beyond David Garrard.  Gabbert will not challenge Garrrard for the starting spot right away, but perhaps in a year or two?  Who knows?  Gruden disagrees (of course...get back on the sideline Chuckie!).  Gabbert is the prototypical pocket passer NFL teams salivate over.  The Redskins obviously either a) don't want a quarterback and will find a way with McNabb, b) rated somebody higher than Gabbert at that position and want to wait until later, c) don't really want to pick now and was able to make a deal to just get more picks later, or d) Have absolutely no clue what it means to draft.  I know what AK thinks....

I still hope we pick Fairley later.  That would be sweet!  The Skins are now down to the 16th pick.  Houston is on the clock.
