A Sanchez bomb to Santonio Holmes is just what the doctor ordered. Now its 24-10 and perhaps those declarations that the Jets are dead were a bit premature. They did exactly what I said they needed to do: attack that secondary. Holmes ran a go route and the fact that Ryan Clark (a safety) was the closet guy means that whoever the corner was that was responsible for him bit badly on some kind of a move. Either that or he was just blown away by a go route. Sanchez threw a perfect pass. And look out, Pittsburgh. We might have a ballgame on our hands afterall.
I will gracefully eat crow if in fact the Jets somehow pull off a comeback. Steelers just finished off a 3 and out. Roethlisberger attempted a play action in-your-face bomb on 1st and 10, and ended up scrambling.
Uh oh...there goes the momentum. Roughing the kicker on the ensuing punt. Perhaps the talk of a comeback was somewhat premature.
