It's kind of odd that the Packers are not up by a lot more than this. They have pretty much dominated from the opening kickoff. However, other than the opening drive (and to a lesser extent the second TD drive), they have not really exerted their dominance to the tune of points on the board. Lance Briggs' pick at the end of the half could have turned into disaster, but Jay Cutler being who he is, promptly threw another one right back at Green Bay. Cutler is looking like the Cutler who threw 4 picks against the Redskins, and not the Cutler that shredded Seattle last week. If this keeps up, I know I sound like a broken record, but the Packers really have a chance to run away with this thing.
The Bears get the ball first to start the 2nd half. This opening drive in my opinion is going to be the season for the Bears. At the very least the Bears have to have the mentality that this opening drive is their season. They can focus, drive the ball and score (which they have shown they can do...albeit in small doses) or they can trip all over themselves like they did in the 2nd quarter and give Green Bay every chance in the world to blow them out. Now, for Green Bay, will they take the gift that the Bears are giving them, or will they let them hang around...hang around. We have seen too many examples historically of what happens when clearly dominant teams (like the Packers are right now) let inferior teams like the Bears continuously hang around......30 minutes to play!
