Steelers 7 Jets 0-End of 1st Quarter

The Steelers are playing awfully physical football right now, and I don't know if the Jets are capable of matching it.  They are dominating the line of scrimmage, to the tune of a 9 minute opening TD drive.  Sanchez made a couple good throws on the Jets ensuing possession, but the physicality of the Steelers secondary prevented much else (despite 2 penalites against).  Now the Steelers are on the move again with Mendenhall running off tackle and catching screen passes.  The Steelers look right now like they are not going to blow out the Jets, more like let them linger and hang around, but unlike the NFC Championship, I think this is by design.  The Steelers' strengths are their running game and bruising defense.  The Packers are the finesse team, who should not have let the Bears hang around.  However, by letting the Jets hang around by chewing the clock, they are working on breaking their spirit, sucking the morale out of the sideline.  That is exactly what the Steelers are trying to do.  The only catch is that they need to have drives end in touchdowns.

As soon as I say that...a bomb to Heath Miller goes awry and another near pick bailed out by a defensive penalty (high hit on the defenseless receiver...just the kind of hit the league is trying to legislate out).  Stick to your strengths.  The Packers didn't take my advice, and they almost blew it.  Just saying.
